L'oreal EverCreme Deep Nourishing Masque Review

L'oreal EverCreme Deep Nourishing Masque Review

Hello everyone! It is that time of year when we should be using hair masks and treatments a little more often. I use them all year round though because my hair tends to be on the drier side and is also frizzy, so I gotta do something about that regularly. It's also good to nourish your hair on a regular basis, to keep it healthy and strong. So pampering is a good idea!

The winter is especially hard on our hair though. The dry indoor heat. Dry cool air outside. Chilly wind. We need something to get the moisture and life back in our hair. And that is exactly where this EverCreme Deep Nourishing mask from L'oreal Paris comes in.

I love L'oreal hair products. I think they are one of the very top brands out there for hair.

So here's what I have to say about this mask!

L'oreal EverCreme Deep Nourishing Masque

L'oreal has several separate collections in the Ever line. There is EverPure, which is a moisture shampoo especially made for those with color treated hair. EverStrong, which is for weak and damaged hair. EverSleek, which is great for those with frizzy and unruly hair. And then of course EverCreme, which is for hair that is really dry and needs moisture/nourishment.

The entire L'oreal Ever line is:

Paraben free
Sulfate free
Vegan
Made with no harsh salts
Made with natural botanicals

I just love the Ever line, I have used most of the shampoos, conditioners, and masks from all four collections. I think they are beautiful and really do make a difference in your hair. They are also gentle.

Here is the entire EverCreme collection:

I have seemed to really gravitate toward the EverCreme mask. It also smells heavenly! It leaves a nice pretty scent in your hair. It's thick and creamy and smooth in texture.

This mask contains both Omega 3 and 6, which saturates the hair with moisture and nutrients, and helps to make it more shiny, healthy, and soft. It also contains the moisture complex which is part of all the Ever products.

The mask also has Camelina Sativa Oil in it. This plant oil is ideal for hair. It is an essential fatty acid that is ten times higher in linoleic acid and alpha linolenic acid than most other vegetable oils. It even helps repair damaged cells and it protects hair follicles - awesome!

There is also Grape Seed Oil and Apricot Oil in this. Lots of natural and excellent ingredients for hair.

I use this mask very generously (as I actually always do with masks). I load my hair with it from roots to ends, and rub it all in and squeeze it all in, and I let it stay in my hair anywhere from 5 mins to 15 mins or so. It just depends on my mood and the condition of my hair. The instructions say to leave it in for 3-5 mins, but I feel that you can get much more benefit from any mask if you leave it in longer.

I also use masks pretty much every time I wash my hair and most say to use once a week, but I'm a bit of a mask/treatment lover. As mentioned too, this time of year is really hard on our hair so I use them even a little more. I use masks in place of conditioner. I actually don't use conditioner very often because I prefer treatments over them. They can be a bit heavy and rich for those with super fine hair though. The good thing about the EverCreme mask is that it doesn't seem to weight the hair down. So I actually think this particular mask is great for all hair types. The entire EverCreme collection is known for not weighing the hair down, and this is something I love about this mask. It is so super nourishing, and it really does moisturize your hair, but it doesn't make it flat and heavy. It's perfect!

This mask really does what it says. It really does make your hair more soft and shiny. I just love it. It has definitely improved the condition of my hair. It has less frizz after I use this. Mind you, I do have to keep up with it though. It's something you have to use on a regular basis. A one or two time use won't transform your hair completely or for good... you do have to keep up a routine with it.

So ladies, I am sure you can tell that I really love this mask and it is definitely on my recommendation list. I find this mask to be a bit of a little bugger to find though. I have to go through several stores before I finally come across it, and when I do, I stock up with two or three of them, because I know it could be a while before I find them again. I am not sure if this is because it's so popular or because most stores just don't carry it. But it is out there! You just gotta really look. Sometimes it will be in a certain store and then I won't see it for several months and then it's back. It can be found at a variety of different grocery and department stores.

This mask is definitely of salon quality in my opinion. It is very luxurious. Smells amazing. Leaves your hair with less tangles and frizz, and with a lot more health, moisture, and shine.

    1. Hi Arielle! :o) I really don't think you can go wrong with any of the masks from this line. I too have used the EverPure mask and loved it! I love the mint in it too. It's wonderful. I like EverCreme just a tad more for the slight extra hydration, but they are all amazing! ♥ xo
